The entrance to Camp Shawnee is located on NW River Road, west of Parkville, MO.
You can reach the entrance from the Northwest by way of Highway 45 or from the Southeast by way of Highway 9 to Parkville and FF Highway to the camp.
The only tricky part of the drive is navigating from Highway 9 to FF in Parkville itself: Turn left at the stop sign, then immediately right onto FF.
~1.25 miles later, FF forks to the right, with NW River Road to the left. Take the left fork and the camp will be 3 miles away on your right.
If you’re coming from I-435, exit onto Highway 45 and drive almost a mile east from the 45/I-435 interchange to Waldron Rd. Turn south (should be a left) and follow Waldron until it tees into NW River Road. Turn left onto NW River Road, and the camp entrance will be ~2 miles away on your left.
